Cesar Millan

Cesar Millan is known for his expertise in dog behavior and rehabilitation, with over 25 years of experience in the field. He is prominently known for his work in the hit show "Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan" on the National Geographic Channel, watched by millions on a weekly basis.

Originally from Mexico, Millan felt a profound bond with dogs from an early age. In 1990, Millan migrated to the United States where he began his journey as a dog groomer, quickly gaining a reputation for his ability to handle even the most challenging canines.

Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Millan established a dog rehabilitation service, specializing in severe cases. His reputation quickly spread, drawing in a clientele that included A-List celebrities. He founded the Dog Psychology Center in South Los Angeles which later moved to Santa Clarita, California. The "Dog Whisperer" has authored several New York Times best-selling books, including "Cesar's Way," which have collectively sold two million copies in the United States. He has also produced instructional DVDs, and launched a line of environmentally-friendly and rigorously-tested dog products. Millan also has a significant online presence, with over 20 million followers across various social media platforms.

Millan's television work extends beyond the "Dog Whisperer," having produced and starred in multiple shows including "Dog Nation," "Cesar 911," and "Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog." He has also lent his voice to films, including "Trouble" in 2019 and the 2008 film "Beethoven's Big Break" in which he played himself. An international touring dog training lecture and stage performance, "Cesar Millan Live!" further showcases his training techniques. In 2023, he was awarded the Medal of Excellence by the Washington Hispanic Caucus in Washington D.C, and launched a new podcast titled "Better Humans Better Planet."
