Evan Owens

After hearing about AAE through a mutual friend, Evan joined the company in January 2021. He holds a bachelor's in communications with a focus in journalism from North Carolina Central University. As valedictorian and editor-in-chief of the university newspaper, Evan has a strong background in storytelling. After starting his career in journalism, he picked up skills like editing, photography, and social media, which allowed him to transition into marketing. Today, Evan describes himself as a jack-of-all-trades marketing specialist, who particularly enjoys the creative side of content writing, graphic design, and campaign planning. He feels AAE is a great fit for his interests, and is looking forward to supporting the team. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife, his kids, and their two dogs.
