AAE Speakers Bureau Announces New 2024 Best Workplace Awards

The team here at AAE Speakers is excited to be sporting two new workplace awards. The company was recently named to both Inc. Magazine’s 2024 Best Workplaces and to the Triangle Business Journal’s 2024 Best Places to Work lists.

“Our success starts with recruiting and retaining the best employees,” said founder and CEO, Greg Friedlander. “Our work culture is very collaborative and service-focused, and having the right people on the team is a big part of what makes our clients so happy to work with us.”

Each year, Inc. Magazine creates a comprehensive list of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces. Inc. collects data from thousands of survey submissions across topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, overall company culture, and benefits to select finalists for the awards.

Additionally, AAE has been named to the TBJ’s Best Places to Work in 2024 list — the sixth time we’ve had this honor. Annually, the TBJ recognizes the top 50 employers in the region through anonymous, employee-submitted surveys that evaluate workplace culture, benefits offerings, leadership, and more.

These accomplishments are repeat wins for the company, having been named to both lists for the past 3 years. However, winning these awards is something that is not taken for granted by the leadership team.

“Winning awards doesn’t mean we stop focusing on culture,” said Jennifer Best, Vice President of Marketing. “Whether it’s regularly reviewing benefits, planning fun company outings, or bringing in guest speakers to inspire the team, we prioritize what our employees want most – investing in their success.”

At AAE, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. Building a workplace where each member of our team feels empowered, supported, and included is at the heart of everything we do.

“I love working at AAE because not only do we get to be a part of so many incredible events with great clients, we also get to be a part of a team that genuinely cares about one another,” said Jazz Carter, Operations Specialist. “We celebrate each other’s personal and professional wins and set each other up for success from the start.”

“I always boast that the success we have at AAE is like catching lightning in a bottle. There is something almost magical about the way this company balances year-over-year growth without sacrificing culture,” said Maddy McPeak, Senior Client Experience Manager. “I believe this magic starts at the top with our fearless yet intentional leader, Greg Friedlander. Three consecutive years of winning these highly coveted workplace awards speaks truth to his philosophy. And that is when a company empowers their people to invest in themselves first, tangible success is close to follow.”

These annual awards are not the end goal of prioritizing our company culture, but they are a good litmus test to ensure we’re consistently living up to our ideals. Additionally, we’ve seen year after year that when our employees enjoy the benefits of a healthy culture, the positive effects are also passed on to our clients through exceptional customer service.
