311, a band consisting of current members Nick Hexum, Aaron "P-Nut" Wills, Chad Sexton, Tim Mahoney, and Doug "SA" Martinez, has achieved substantial success since their formation. The band has released fourteen studio albums, two live albums, four compilation albums, four EPs, and four DVDs, with sales reaching over 10 million records in the United States by 2022. Their 1995 triple platinum self-titled album "311" catapulted them into the limelight with hit singles like "Down" and "All Mixed Up." Other successful albums, such as "Transistor," "Soundsystem," and "From Chaos."

Beyond their studio work, 311 is known for their extensive touring and live performances, including their annual Unity Tour and the 311 Day event, which they have staged every year since 2000. The 2023 311 Day event was noteworthy as it took place aboard a cruise.
