A. Roger Merrill

Roger Merrill, co-founder of Covey Leadership Center (now FranklinCovey Company), has amassed over 35 years of experience as a line manager, senior executive, business consultant, and teacher. He specializes in leadership development and personal effectiveness, aiding organizations in nurturing their leadership and coaching senior executives.

Merrill is the co-author of the international bestseller "First Things First" alongside Stephen R. Covey and Rebecca Merrill. He has also authored "Connections" and "Quadrant II Time Management," is a co-author of "The Nature of Leadership," and a contributing author to "Principle-Centered Leadership." His recent work, "Life Matters: Creating a Dynamic Balance of Work, Family, Time and Money" co-authored with his wife, Rebecca, was recognized by Soundview Executive Summaries as one of the 30 best business books of 2004.

Besides his writing accomplishments, Merrill has developed several keynotes addressing various aspects of leadership and personal growth.
