Aaron Bastani is a British journalist, writer, and co-founder of the left-wing media organization Novara Media, established in 2011. He has not only hosted and co-hosted many of its podcasts and videos but also popularized the term "fully automated luxury communism" in a 2014 video. This term describes a post-capitalist society where automation significantly diminishes the amount of labor required by humans. In 2019, Bastani published a book titled "Fully Automated Luxury Communism" to explore this concept further.
Aside from his work with Novara Media, Bastani has contributed to The Guardian, London Review of Books, openDemocracy, and Vice. He is known for his active presence on Twitter, where he frequently engages in debates.
