Akinwale Ojomo Biography
Akinwale Roy Ojomo is the Chief Engagement Officer of the Diaspora Innovation Institute and a Special Assistant on Innovation, PPP, and Entrepreneurship. Before then he was a Producer of Global Culture TV Show Washington DC, Managing Editor of Ebo Magazine and Senior Partner of Roy Synergy Group, USA. Previously, he worked with Citibank, Key Bank and Chams, where he was actively involved with process improvement, developmental projects and awareness about diversity in the workplace. His involvement with Global Diversity projects earned him a nomination as a Diversity Contributor; he was featured in the 2006 Citigroup Diversity Calendar and received a commendation from Senator Thomas Carper of Delaware. He has been a recipient of the White House President's Volunteer Service Award (PSVA) since 2004 and has been invited to the Global Diaspora Forum, Philanthropy Summit and Clinton Global Initiative Annual General Meeting since 2006. His current projects include DIASPORA 100 Documentary, Facilitate Working Visits for top African leaders to the United States/Europe/United Kingdom and the African Diaspora Volunteering and Community Service Initiative. Ojomo is currently writing two books. He holds an MBA and an MS from Wilmington University, USA.
