Alex Jung

Alex Jung has worked both in consulting and on industry leadership teams during her 35-year career in the industry. Prior to joining EY US, she was the SVP of Corporate Strategy at a large retail pharmacy, responsible for its health care and pharmacy strategy. She also led operations for a large health care company, responsible for internal processes and technology.

Her perspectives from internal operations helped her understand the implications of transformational strategies for a complex business. As a result, she has helped shape several significant business model redesigns, novel partnerships and large-scale transactions by de-risking the strategy and taking into consideration the day-to-day implications of change.

Jung holds a BS in Business Management from Northeastern Illinois University. She is a licensed broker in health, accident and life, as well as a certified project manager (CMP), and she is trained in Juran and the W. Edward Deming Quality Process.

Jung is passionate about improving patient affordability and helping companies deliver value to patients who are suffering from disease. She does this by helping clients define and implement their strategy and build organizational capabilities to deliver sustainable business results through both organic and inorganic approaches.
