Alex Kendrick

Alex Kendrick has dedicated his life to following Jesus Christ and making His truth and love known among the nations. After serving in church ministry for 20 years, he now writes, speaks, and produces Christian films with his brothers, Stephen and Shannon. He directed the movies "Overcomer," "War Room," "Courageous," "Fireproof," "Facing the Giants," and "Flywheel." In 2021, he released "Courageous Legacy," and "Show Me the Father," his first documentary. He also worked on “Lifemark” in the role of Shawn and as an executive producer. His films have received over 30 awards, underscoring their impact and reach.

Kendrick co-wrote the New York Times bestsellers "The Love Dare" and "The Resolution for Men," as well as "The Battle Plan for Prayer" and "Defined: Who God Says You Are." He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. As a speaker, Kendrick is recognized for his engaging and inspirational messages that often integrate his faith, and he has been featured in national simulcasts and conferences on marriage, filmmaking, and men's issues.

He has also appeared on "Good Morning America," "ABC World News Tonight," "CBS Evening News," Fox and Friends, CNN, and "Dr. Phil," among other significant media outlets. Kendrick and his wife, Christina, reside in Albany, Georgia with their six children, where they are active members of Sherwood Church. He serves on the boards of the Fatherhood Commission and the Christian Film Foundation, contributing to broader discussions on faith and family in media.
