Alexa PenaVega

Alexa PenaVega first made a name for herself in the film industry as Carmen Cortez in the famed "Spy Kids" series. Her diverse acting roles also include the ABC Family series "Ruby & the Rockits" and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' "Picture Perfect Mysteries" series alongside her husband, Carlos PenaVega. PenaVega's versatility as an actress is further demonstrated by her roles in a variety of Hallmark made-for-television films such as "Ms. Matched," "Destination Wedding," and "Christmas Made to Order," as well as the Pure Flix original series "The Power Couple."

In addition to her acting career, PenaVega has showcased her talents in music and dance. She recorded songs for the "Spy Kids" film soundtracks and the film "Repo! The Genetic Opera," and performed "Christmas is the Time to Say 'I Love You'" in the ABC Family film "Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe." She also sang two songs on the soundtrack for the film "The Devil's Carnival." Her dance skills were highlighted when she competed in the 21st season of "Dancing with the Stars" in 2015, finishing in sixth place.

Throughout her career, PenaVega has been recognized for her achievements, including winning the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film in 2002. Her most recent roles include Valerie Scoggins in "Mighty Oak" and Dani in "Mr. Manhattan." PenaVega's commitment to her Christian faith is reflected in her roles in faith-based films, such as "Do You Believe?" released in 2015. She continues to provide the voice for Carlota Casagrande in "The Loud House" and "The Casagrandes."
