Alix Generous

Alix Generous is an activist, writer, entrepreneur, aspiring child psychologist, storyteller, and artist. Her TED talk “My inner life” has received over 1.9 million views and she has spoken around the world on her life experiences. She takes on projects that increase awareness and acceptance of those with mental differences advocating for non-violence, sustainability, and equality.

She grew up in Potomac, MD & Santa Fe, NM, graduating from the College of Charleston & University of Vermont in 2016. She lives in Los Angeles and is a graduate student at Pepperdine University studying to become a psychologist.

Alix is a successful working professional, play and music therapist, and private business consultant. She is a script consultant for the TV show, "Everything’s Gonna Be Okay." She has consulted companies such as The Spectrum Works, which runs initiatives to get autistic people hired by corporations. She is also an artist who has created private character art for clients. She is working towards her master’s and a doctorate in Psychology at Pepperdine University. Her joy is helping and teaching children.

Her drive comes from her own experiences. She plans to start a foundation that prevents violence against autistic people specifically addressing autism filicide, police brutality towards disabled people, and prevents abuse. She is moving to Europe after her graduate studies are finished where she hopes to bring therapeutic resources to obscure places. She is always searching to connect with others who have similar goals. She is accepting new clients, projects, remote jobs, and mentors in the various industries she contributes to.
