Allison Hagendorf serves as the Global Head of Rock at Spotify, leveraging her extensive background in music journalism and broadcasting to shape one of the platform's most influential genres. She is widely recognized as the official host of the world-renowned Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration, an event watched by over a billion people globally each year. Additionally, Hagendorf's voice resonates as the Live Announcer at the MTV Video Music Awards and MTV Movie Awards. Her hosting prowess extends to digital and television platforms, where she leads Refinery29’s "Be A Badass" series, "The CrossFit Games Live Show," and "The X Games Live" broadcasted on ABC and ESPN.

Hagendorf’s career in the entertainment industry began in A&R at Sony Music’s Columbia Records and Epic Records, where she played a pivotal role in talent scouting and album production. Her efforts contributed to the success of various artists, including the metal band Lamb of God, whose single "Redneck" was nominated for a Grammy for “Best Metal Performance.”
