Alyssa Rapp

Throughout her career, Alyssa Rapp has consistently demonstrated a proactive approach to leadership and innovation.

From her days as a competitive gymnast to her academic tenure at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, where she initially fell in love with entrepreneurship, Rapp has applied her energetic approach across various roles. She founded and led Bottlenotes, Inc, transforming it into a leading digital media company in the US wine industry, and authored the book "Bottlenotes Guide to Wine: Around the World in 80 Sips." Her entrepreneurial journey continued as she led Surgical Solutions as CEO from 2018 to 2021, a position she took up after moving to Chicago. Under her leadership, the company was recognized among the Top 50 Healthcare Companies. In 2019, she joined the University of Chicago’s Booth Business School as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship.

Currently, Alyssa Rapp serves as the CEO and Director of Healthwell Acquisition Corp. I, guiding the company through significant processes including an IPO and robust mergers and acquisitions. She is also an independent director for two portfolio companies at Shore Capital Partners and an elected member of Illinois’ District 36 School Board. Her literary contributions include the Amazon Bestseller "Leadership and Life Hacks: Insights from a Mom, Wife, Entrepreneur & Executive," and more recently, "Hacks for the New World: How to Live and Work in the Age of Sheltering-at-Home--and Beyond," which offers insights into adapting to new working environments.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Rapp enjoys running track, practicing yoga, skiing, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Hal Morris, are the proud parents of Audrey Margaret Morris and Henriette Daniella Morris. Her continuous pursuit of efficiency and balance in both her professional and personal life illustrates her capacity to adapt and lead effectively in diverse environments.
