Amanda Montell

Amanda Montell is a New York Times-bestselling author, linguist, and podcast host based in Los Angeles. She has penned three acclaimed nonfiction books: "Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism" (HarperWave, 2021), "Wordslut: A Feminist Guide to Taking Back the English Language" (HarperWave, 2019), and the forthcoming "The Age of Magical Overthinking: Notes on Modern Irrationality" (OneSignal, an imprint of Atria and Simon & Schuster, 2024).
