Amobi Okugo

Amobi Okugo is an entrepreneur, media host, philanthropist, and former professional athlete who has been recognized in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2021. He has made over 200 appearances in professional competitions and has represented the U.S. national team program at various youth levels, including participating in the 2012 Olympic squad.

Okugo was drafted in the first round of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft from UCLA and has played for teams including Philadelphia, Orlando, Kansas City, Portland, and Austin. Beyond his athletic career, he is the founder of "A Frugal Athlete," an online financial media platform that encourages prudent financial practices and smart career decisions among professional and student athletes. Okugo also holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and Development with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Louisville, and a Master of Sports Law and Business from Arizona State University. His entrepreneurial spirit extends to roles as a founder or partner in several ventures, including Serve Consulting and 2Cents FC.

In addition to his business and athletic pursuits, Okugo founded The Ok U Go Foundation, which assists children from low-income backgrounds through athletic, educational, and social programs.
