Anand Pillai

Anand Pillai is an industry veteran, a Leadership Coach and Organization Transformation Guru whose career of almost 43 years has been in challenging assignments in general management and as head of operations (from GM to CLO to CEO) in Fortune 500 companies.

Pillai is also a Leadership Coach and Organization Transformation Guru in addition to being an Independent Director in a few companies. He has lived and worked in India, Singapore, Canada and United States in addition to having travelled to over 27 countries.

His previous corporate role was as Senior Executive Vice President -Business Transformation and Chief Learning Officer at Reliance Industries Ltd where he worked closely with the chairman and the senior leadership at RIL along with world’s leading management consultants as part of the landmark Business Transformation at Reliance. Prior to Reliance he was the Senior Vice President and Global Head-Talent Transformation at HCL Technologies Ltd.

He has been a much sought-after speaker in many national and international forums in addition to being the guest lecturer in leading B Schools in India and abroad. Pillai has been featured in the book “Leading with Wisdom” along with 30 other leaders (Steven Covey and Abdul Kalam, to name a few) in the world. He has done extensive research on cross cultural relationships, intrapreneurship, and innovation (Blue Ocean Strategy) and is widely consulted on these three subjects across the globe.
