Anderson .Paak

Anderson .Paak, an American rapper, singer, and record producer, made his debut in 2012 with the release of his mixtape "O.B.E. Vol. 1". His first album "Venice" followed in 2014, and his second album "Malibu" in 2016, which received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album. His success continued with the release of "Oxnard" in 2018 and "Ventura" in 2020, the latter earning him two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance with the song "Come Home". In addition to his solo work, .Paak has formed two duos, NxWorries with record producer Knxwledge in 2015 and Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars in 2021. The latter's debut single "Leave the Door Open" topped the Billboard Hot 100 and won four awards at the 64th Grammy Awards.

He has performed on tracks for Dr. Dre's album "Compton" and The Game's album "The Documentary 2.5", and was part of the lineup for NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series in August 2016. He also joined Jhené Aiko on her 'Enter The Void' tour in 2014 and was a guest showcase model on the television game show The Price Is Right in 2020. More recently, .Paak was a special guest (on drums) alongside 50 Cent at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in 2022.

.Paak has also made his mark in the world of business and philanthropy. He signed a worldwide administrative deal with Warner Chappell Music in partnership with Dr. Dre's publishing company in 2021, and partnered with Universal Music Group to form a new record label called Apeshit Inc. in November of the same year. He also founded The Brandon Anderson Foundation, a non-profit organization, in 2016 and launched .Paak House, an annual benefit concert, in 2017 to raise funds for the organization.
