Andrea Beaty

Andrea Beaty (rhymes with "lady") is a New York Times bestselling and award-winning children's author celebrated for her engaging and educational picture books that often emphasize themes in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Beaty has authored several acclaimed books. Notable among them are "Iggy Peck, Architect" (2007), "Rosie Revere, Engineer" (2013), and "Ada Twist, Scientist" (2016). These works are part of her "Questioneers" series, which encourages young readers to explore STEM fields through storytelling. Her books have received numerous accolades, including being named Junior Library Guild selections and appearing on The New York Times Best Seller list.

Beaty pursued higher education at Southern Illinois University, earning degrees in Biology and Computer Science. Born in Benton, Illinois, she spent her childhood in a small town where she developed a love for reading, particularly enjoying Nancy Drew mysteries.
