Andreas Ekstrom

Andreas Ekström is an award-winning Swedish journalist, author, and digital futurist who wrote a bestselling book about Google – and has since been a keynote speaker, consultant, and commentator on all things digital. He is a senior staff writer at Swedish morning paper Sydsvenskan. His big break as an author was a journalistic study of Google, published in 2010, and it established him as one of our leading authorities in understanding and explaining the highs and lows of the digital revolution. His global educational work won him the Swedish ”Speaker of the Year” award in early 2019. The critically acclaimed ”On Finding” is his seventh book, and the first one to be published in English. He has done multiple TED talks and he is often hired as a “digital thought partner”.

Ekström is a sought-after keynote speaker for conferences all over the world. His lectures reach from issues of digitalization and media to politics and culture. His take on tech is not really on the tech itself, but rather the sociology of tech, the digital revolution, and how it affects us.

His passion is to educate for digital equality and a re-democratization of the internet.
