Andres Tapia

Andrés Tapia is currently a Senior Partner at Korn/Ferry International, where he serves as a Global Diversity and Inclusion Strategist. With over 25 years of experience, he has been instrumental in shaping a contemporary, next-generation approach to diversity and inclusion. This approach is global, deeply integrated into talent systems, and aimed at enabling marketplace success. Tapia's expertise encompasses being a C-suite management consultant, diversity executive, organizational development and training professional, and journalist.

Tapia has a significant international footprint, having worked with clients across North America, Europe, Asia, and his native Latin America to develop their enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategies. His work spans various industries, including financial services, technology, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, government, not-for-profits, and education, and involves Global 500 organizations and non-US multinationals in countries like Brazil, South Korea, and India.

Tapia is the author of "The Inclusion Paradox: The Obama Era and the Transformation of Global Diversity," and co-author of "Auténtico: The Definitive Guide to Latino Career Success." He has also contributed to "The 5 Disciplines of Inclusive Leadership: Unleashing the Power of All of Us." Previously, he has served as a Commissioner on the Highland Park (IL) Housing Commission and recently began a four-year term as a Highland Park City Councilmember, which started on May 10, 2021.
