Andrew Miller

Andrew Miller, a former professional baseball pitcher, made significant strides throughout his career in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for teams including the Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, and St. Louis Cardinals. Miller's transition from a starting pitcher to a full-time reliever in 2012 marked a significant shift in his career, leading to his selection as a two-time MLB All-Star in 2016 and 2017. Other notable awards during his career include the American League Reliever of the Year Award in 2015 and being a pivotal part of the United States national team that won the World Baseball Classic in 2017.

Miller's collegiate career was filled with accolades, including the Baseball America College Player of the Year and Roger Clemens Awards in 2006. His impressive performance during this time led to his selection as the sixth overall pick by the Detroit Tigers in the 2006 MLB draft.
