Andrew Rashbass

One of the best-known innovators in news and media, Andrew Rashbass breathes new life into old business models. The former Chief Executive of Reuters, as well as past Chief Executive of the Economist Group, Mr. Rashbass tackled the challenges facing traditional media business and charted sustainable paths for the future. In October 2015, he became Executive Chairman of Euromoney Institutional Investor, the international publishing, events and information business. Mr. Rashbass is a sought-after speaker for his expert views about the future of news, media and marketing and his experience of succeeding in a highly disrupted industry.

Andrew Rashbass will become Executive Chairman of Euromoney Institutional Investor, the international publishing, events and information business, in October 2015. Previously, he was Chief Executive of Reuters, one of the world’s largest news organizations, and before that, chief executive of The Economist Group, whose businesses include The Economist, The Economist Intelligence Unit and CQ Roll Call. Mr. Rashbass graduated from Cambridge University in the UK, where he studied Classics and Philosophy and he has a Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence from Sussex University.
