Andy Boynton

Andy Boynton is the Dean of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, which is recognized as one of the leading business schools globally. He is also the co-creator of the "DeepDive™" methodology, widely used for significantly improving problem-solving speed and innovation in teamwork settings. Boynton has authored several influential books including "The Idea Hunter: How to Find the Best Ideas and Make them Happen," co-authored with Bill Fischer and William Bole, which is based on his extensive research into how professionals from various fields use ideas to achieve success.

Before his tenure at Boston College, Boynton was a professor of strategy and leadership at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland for over ten years. During his time at IMD, he led a faculty team and served as the program director of one of the world's top ten Executive MBA programs as acknowledged by Bloomberg Businessweek. Boynton's academic contributions also include his time at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina, and the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
