Sir Andrew Barron Murray OBE is a renowned British professional tennis player from Scotland. He held the world No. 1 ranking in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for 41 weeks and ended 2016 as the year-end No. 1. Murray boasts three Grand Slam singles titles, with victories at Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016, and the US Open in 2012. Throughout his career, he has reached eleven major finals and maintained a top 10 ranking for nearly a decade. Additionally, Murray has claimed 46 ATP Tour singles titles, including 14 Masters 1000 events, and is a double Olympic gold medalist.

Murray's journey began under the guidance of his mother Judy and alongside his brother Jamie. At 15, he relocated to Barcelona to train at the Sánchez-Casal Academy, marking a pivotal moment in his development. He turned professional during the era dominated by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal and made an immediate impact by breaking into the top 10 in 2007 at the age of 19.
