Andy North Biography
Andy North is one of a handful of pro golfers to win the U.S. Open twice, and he didn't even like golf until a knee injury took contact sports away from him. He took an academic scholarship where he studied at the University of Florida and played for the Buster Bishop’s Florida Gators men’s golf team while there. He became an All-American and a three-time first-team All-Southeastern Conference selection. He went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s in business administration. North has gone on to be inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame. During his professional career North has had 15 professional wins, 3 on the PGA Tour, 1 on the PGA Tour Champions, and 11 other wins. He has gone on to be an ESPN on-course reporter and lead reporter for ESPN and ABC Sports as well. North has also been inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame.
