Andy Samberg

Andy Samberg, best known for his work as a cast member and writer for "Saturday Night Live," (SNL) is also a member of the comedy music group The Lonely Island. His tenure on SNL from 2005 to 2012 included a win for a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for "Dick in a Box," a duet with Justin Timberlake that also earned a Grammy nomination. His comedic skills further extended to the big screen where he starred in films such as "Hot Rod," "That's My Boy," "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping," and "Palm Springs."

From 2013 to 2021, Samberg led the television series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" as Jake Peralta, a role that earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy in 2013. His voice work includes characters in the "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" and "Hotel Transylvania" film series, as well as roles in "Digman!" and "Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse." In 2019, he co-hosted the 76th Golden Globe Awards with Sandra Oh, and in 2015, he hosted the Emmy Awards for Fox.

Samberg's creative endeavors also include writing, as evidenced by the release of "Holy Roller", a comic he authored, by Image Comics in November 2023. He co-hosts "The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast," where he discusses the Lonely Island's SNL Digital Shorts, and he has made appearances on other podcasts such as "WTF with Marc Maron." His accolades include multiple awards for his work in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Palm Springs," showcasing his proficiency in both comedic and dramatic roles.
