Angela Busheska

Angela Busheska is a Macedonian social entrepreneur and climate-tech activist. She is a rising junior, pursuing a double degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. At 18, she founded EnRoute, a mobile app that helps people reduce carbon emissions from their daily transport and shopping activities. EnRoute grew into a global movement, with over 100 volunteers on 6 continents, and reduced over 100.000 kg of carbon emissions.

For her work with EnRoute, she was on the 2022 Forbes Social Impact List. She was also a 2023 GreenTech Festival Youngster Finalist, 2021 Global Teen Leader, 2021 Diana Award, and a 2021 Shawn Mendes Wonder Award Winner.

Furthermore, she pursues research to use the power of tech for good. In the summer of 2022, she was the youngest researcher in Google Speech, working to make Google Assistant available in low-resource Indian and African Languages. In her spare time, she joins activities to promote social impact further. She is an ambassador for the Arctic Basecamp, where she is building chatArctic. She is a correspondent for the genZ Talk Show Conversationalist, which airs on Snapchat, a delegate for the Youth 4 Climate, supporter of the IBM Code for Good platform, and a One Young World Ambassador.

She is a public speaker, sharing her voice on issues she truly believes in. Angela has spoken at 60+ events, from New York to Delhi, from Skopje to Paris, at venues like COP 26, Youth 4 Climate, and events organized by SAP, Deloitte, and National Geographic. At the end of the day, she is an unshakable optimist who believes that the power of never giving up is the only thing that brings miracles in life.
