Angela Luna

Named to the coveted Forbes 30 Under 30 list at just 22 years old, Luna is a solution-based designer, motivated to combat homelessness and the refugee crisis through ADIFF jackets.

As a humanitarian start-up brand with a donation-based business model, ADIFF jackets are wearable for a variety of outdoor necessities. ADIFF launched with two key products: the acclaimed tent jacket, a trench coat that converts into a tent for 1-2 people, and the reversible, [in]visible jacket, with one reflective side and the other camo green. With each purchase, ADIFF donates a jacket to a displaced person. To date, ADIFF has donated over 500 jackets and projects 1,000 more by 2019.

Angela's activism and design ingenuity have led to high-profile opportunities, including speaking at TEDx events and being featured in a Microsoft Windows HP Spectre-360 commercial. Her audience ranges from college students studying social entrepreneurship or fashion design, to innovators and cultural curators, trend forecasters, and Fortune 500 companies at conferences such as the Crystal Apple Creativity Festival in Istanbul.

Born and raised in Beverly, Mass., Angela moved to New York to study fashion design at Parsons School of Design at the New School. She realized how truly disconnected fashion was from the world around her, and sought to remedy this detachment, which was the catalyst for her senior thesis collection and led to the creation and success of ADIFF.

Angela is an avid traveler, embracing the opportunity to collect experiences, influencing her aesthetic. In addition to a fashion designer and entrepreneur, she is a humanitarian, activist, and (most importantly) a human being.
