Angie Smith Biography
Angie Smith is speaker, best-selling author and blogger. While pregnant with their daughter, Audrey, Smith and her husband, Todd (lead singer of the Christian group Selah) received news that she would not survive and Smith began blogging as a means of communication with friends and family who wanted to be updated as they walked those difficult days. Smith's blog, Bring the Rain, became a way to share her heart honestly and to have the gift of listening to those who had experienced similar loss.
Smith's greatest passion is to make the Bible feel accessible and relevant, and to share her own ups and downs along the way to encourage others in their faith. She writes Bible studies, adult and children's books including, Seamless, For Such a Time as This, Chasing God, Audrey Bunny, Mended and What Women Fear. Smith holds a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
Smith and Todd live in Tennessee with their four daughters.
