Annette Lynch

Annette Lynch works with the Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB) sharing their vision to lead and inspire innovation in business, education and the community. She helps to manage a number of major conferences (Hawaii Energy Conference, AMOS Conference, EMER-GEN Program, Hawaii Small Business Conference) as well as workshops for Maui small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Annette's self-motivation, drive and curiosity found a way to not only realize a 25 years of playing for her home country Australia in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney (as Annette Huygens-Tholen), but also to forge a new career beyond sport.

Like many athletes, the game change was not easy. A fierce competitor on the court, she was not fully prepared for the reality of retirement! She retired 3 times over 6 years before she was introduced to new tools and new skills that could help her beyond sport. She took charge to change her game and change her life. She became a qualified Master Results Coach, & Trainer of Neuro-linguistics Programming (NLP).

She wrote about her experience and studies in “Success Beyond Sport – How to Retire From Sport and Keep Winning.” Her 8 step program provides the foundation for others to create the success they want.

An Aussie at heart, she loves living with her husband, dog and cat in Maui, Hawaii and loves to travel.
