Annie Lamont

Annie Lamont is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Oak HC/FT where she focuses on growth and early-stage venture opportunities in Healthcare and FinTech. Lamont has appeared on the Forbes Midas List, ranking 50th, and is also featured in Institutional Investor's FinTech Finance 40 list, and the Top 100 Venture Capitalist rankings published by CB Insights and The New York Times. She was the first NVCA's Award for Excellence in Healthcare Innovation recipient.

Apart from her venture capital interests, Lamont also serves on the board of numerous companies, including Advise Health Holdings, Brightline, CareBridge, Clearco, Main Street Health, Modern Age, Quartet, Truepill, Vesta Health, and VillageMD. Such extensive involvement aligns with her passion for healthcare innovation and investment.

She was also honored with the Healthcare Private Equity Association's Russel L. Carson Award for lifetime achievement in healthcare investing. As a participant in the Health and Human Services Deputy Secretary's Innovation and Investment Summit, she actively collaborates with healthcare investment professionals to discuss the healthcare landscape and the government's role in facilitating accelerated innovation and investment.

Lamont also serves as a Managing Partner of Oak Investment Partners, which she joined in 1982. Prior to joining Oak Investment Partners, Annie was a research associate with Hambrecht & Quist. Her ventures in investing and management demonstrate her broad experience in the field. She is also known as the First Lady of Connecticut, being the wife of Governor Ned Lamont. This role extends her influence from the business world to the political sphere, furthering her contributions to the state of Connecticut.
