Anthony Mackie

Anthony Mackie is an American actor and film producer. He has been featured in numerous films, television series, and stage productions, including "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," "Drowning Crow," "McReele," "A Soldier's Play," and "Carl Hancock Rux's Talk." For his performance in the latter, he received an Obie Award in 2002.

Mackie first gained wider attention for his role in the 2002 film "8 Mile," where he starred alongside Eminem. He earned critical acclaim for his performance in "Brother to Brother," which garnered him a nomination for Best Actor at the Independent Spirit Awards. Further recognition came with his nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2009 Independent Spirit Awards for his role in "The Hurt Locker."

He achieved global recognition for his portrayal of Sam Wilson / Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mackie made his debut in this role in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" (2014) and appeared in subsequent Marvel films including "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015), "Ant-Man" (2015), "Captain America: Civil War" (2016), "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), and "Avengers: Endgame" (2019).
