Anthony Veneziale

Tony Award winner and Grammy-nominated star of both Broadway and film, Anthony Veneziale is the cofounder of Freestyle+, a company that helps teams build mental fitness through the science of improvisation and musicality.

A presentation and storytelling expert, Veneziale, also known as Two Touch, is a co-creator of the acclaimed Freestyle Love Supreme, an improvisational hip hop comedy musical group co-founded with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Thomas Kail, which also influenced the creation of “Into the Heights" and “Hamilton.” The group's acclaimed Broadway show of the same name, later a Hulu documentary, blended improvisation, rap, and rhythmic beats to create a unique live experience that fostered authenticity and community.

Veneziale has been performing and teaching improv for more than 25 years and is a leader in the field. He is a founding member of San Francisco improv group American Immigrant; the co-founder of Speechless, Inc. an improv thinking company dedicated to helping individuals and teams enhance their creativity, collaboration, and authentic expression; and co-creator of the FLS Academy, whose mission is to foster diverse creative voices using improvisation and freestyle rap. Freestyle+, a combination of Speechless, Inc. and FLS Academy, helps teams flex their mental muscles through the power of improvisational play and joyful musicality.

To date, Veneziale has trained more than 500,000 people in the techniques of improvisation and together with neuroscientist Charles Limb, designed a University of California, San Francisco brain research project focused on the cognitive impacts of freestyle rapping and improvisational thinking.
