Antoine Fuqua

Antoine Fuqua, a director known for his work in both feature films and music videos, is the force behind a range of films across various genres including action, thriller, and drama. His debut feature film was "The Replacement Killers," which marked the start of his journey in cinema. Fuqua's significant recognition came with the film "Training Day," which earned Denzel Washington an Academy Award for Best Actor. Other notable films directed by him include "Shooter," "Bait," "Tears of the Sun," and the historical epic "King Arthur." He has also directed successful films such as "The Magnificent Seven," "The Equalizer" trilogy, "Southpaw," "Olympus Has Fallen," and "Brooklyn’s Finest."

Fuqua's work extends beyond feature films; he has directed music videos for celebrated artists including Arrested Development, Prince, and Toni Braxton. His directorial expertise also encompasses commercials for major brands like Reebok and Toyota. In the documentary sphere, Fuqua directed "Lightning in a Bottle," a documentary exploring the history of blues music, executive produced by Martin Scorsese. His most recent film projects include "Infinite," "Emancipation," and "The Equalizer 3," with ongoing work on the highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic "Michael," set for a 2025 release. Fuqua's television credits also include executive producing "Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers" and directing the Amazon Prime Video action series "The Terminal List."
