Araceli Segarra

Araceli Segarra is recognized as the first Spanish woman to stand on the summit of Mount Everest. Her notable ascent was part of the Catalan Everest North Face Expedition Team in 1996, which was documented by an IMAX film crew. The resulting film, "Everest," showcased dramatic and beautiful footage, contributing significantly to her public profile.
