She is the founder and CEO of Milo, a modern family assistant and operating system designed to make family life easier. Thompson is an honors graduate of Harvard Business School, where she studied business, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of British Columbia with a major in chemistry and a minor in business.
Before founding Milo, Thompson held various leadership roles in the marketing and strategy divisions of well-known organizations, including Starbucks, Reebok, and Procter & Gamble. She was also the founder and CEO of Poppy, a peer-to-peer marketplace for parents to book trusted childcare providers. In 2016, Thompson participated in the Winter Y Combinator batch, where she developed the concept for Milo.
As a mother herself, Thompson is passionate about building tools that make parenting easier and more enjoyable. She leverages her experience in marketing, strategy, and business to create innovative and user-friendly products that solve real-life problems.
