Barbara Stoker

In her presentation "IntelligentRisking," Barbara Stoker inspires audiences through her interactive programs to take those risks that make a difference for their businesses, their customers, and themselves. With over 20 years of experience as an executive in sales, marketing, and new product development, Stoker well knows those personal and professional risks. As a consumer marketer, she was often the person brought in to develop the new product, brand, or division when previous efforts had not succeeded. Due to her approach to risk and her "never say never" attitude, Stoker has successfully turned around challenging situations. For Hallmark Cards, she launched their Gift Program, which today represents over $200MM in sales. At Walt Disney Productions, she licensed several Disney movies and spearheaded a new licensing program. For Mattel, she developed Porcelain Barbie, initiating Mattel's collectibles business, which has grown significantly in value. At Coors, she managed to sell a previously "unsellable" product, securing an opening order from Nordstrom for over $1 million.

Stoker's "IntelligentRisking" programs create a memorable experience for every attendee, truly making a difference. Outside of her professional life, Stoker is deeply committed to personal adventures and community service. She is an avid technical rock climber and ice climber, and has recently taken up paragliding. Moreover, Stoker's courage extends beyond physical pursuits—she is also a dedicated Wish Grantor for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping to fulfill the wishes of children with critical illnesses. This role reflects her belief in the importance of adventure in every aspect of life.
