Barjis Chohan

Barjis Chohan is a UK-based fashion designer, social entrepreneur, and professional keynote speaker known for her advocacy for diversity and inclusion in business. She has chosen a career in fashion after studying at the London College of Fashion and interning with designer Vivienne Westwood, rather than pursuing medicine. Chohan no longer holds fashion shows, focusing instead on preventing the objectification of young girls.

Chohan has a rich history of delivering motivational talks at various prestigious organizations, including Aston University, Cass Business School, The Capital Exchange, Burnley College, the London College of Fashion, University of Surrey, Champion Headquarters, GoCompare Headquarters, GFACCT in Colombia, OIC Business Summit in Malaysia, and the Global Pioneers Conference. Her keynote presentations often highlight themes such as women's rights, accessibility of the arts, and maintaining core business ethos during international expansion. Notably, she has expanded her business efforts in the Middle East and passionately discusses using creativity for growth, understanding cultural diversity, gender equity and empowerment, as well as fashion and sustainability in her talks.

Currently, Chohan runs a multidisciplinary design studio and is engaged in a collaborative fashion project with Ukraine Arts Culture, set to be exhibited at The Fine Art Museum in San Francisco in September. Additionally, she is developing a sunglasses range, fulfilling a long-held ambition. Her approach to speaking engagements is characterized as relatable, authentic, and motivational, aiming to inspire audiences to bring the best version of themselves to their endeavors.
