Barry Nalebuff Biography
Barry Nalebuff is the Milton Steinbach Professor at Yale School of Management where he has taught for 35 years. An expert on game theory, he has written extensively on its application to business strategy. He is the author of seven books. "Split the Pie" is his new book on negotiation and the subject of his online course on the Coursera platform. The course has 650,000 enrolled learners.
In addition to his academic work, Nalebuff has served on the board of Nationwide Insurance, AGP, and Q Drinks, and currently serves on the boards of Calicraft, Eat the Change, and has been nominated to the The Hershey Company board. He advises the NBA in their negotiations with the players’ union. He is also an entrepreneur. He cofounded Honest Tea with his former student Seth Goldman. The company was sold to Coca-Cola in 2011. His current venture is Just Ice Tea. A graduate of MIT, a Rhodes Scholar, and Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows, Nalebuff earned his doctorate at Oxford University.
