Ben Bryant

Ben Bryant has been a Professor of Leadership at IMD, Switzerland since 2006. Throughout his career, he has worked with hundreds of executives, from CEOs to middle managers, to develop their leadership capabilities. His provocative style challenges leaders to look deeply within themselves and their contexts to question, reflect and transform themselves and their organisations.

Bryant has been sharing his research and experience for over 30 years. He has worked closely with many CEOs and executive teams from several diverse industries. He has designed and delivered leadership interventions in Europe, the USA, Asia and Australia for middle and senior managers and executives. His most significant long-term clients include Mars Inc., GlaxoSmithKline, Zurich Financial Services, LVMH, Maersk, Daimler, China Light and Power, UCB, as well as several others.

The focus of his current research is how leaders can be both reflective and transformational in highly complex leadership contexts. As Director of the IMD CEO Learning Centre, he has focused his research specifically on the challenges of learning, growth and transformation of CEOs and senior executives.

Before coming to IMD in 2006, Bryant was a Fellow of the Centre for Management Development at London Business School for 8 years, where he was also Director of their flagship program – the Global Business Consortium.

Bryant is Australian by birth but has lived and worked in Europe and the UK since 1993.
