Ben Greenfield

Ben Greenfield is a coach, author, speaker, former collegiate athlete, and Ironman triathlete. His science-based approach to health and performance has influenced people worldwide, from athletes to CEOs to everyday individuals. Greenfield's methods promote achieving physical endurance without compromising bodily health.

In 2008, Greenfield was recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as America's top personal trainer. He holds a Master’s degree in exercise physiology and biomechanics from the University of Idaho and is a certified sports nutritionist (C-ISSN) and strength and conditioning coach (CSCS). With a diverse background as a collegiate tennis player, water polo, and volleyball player, bodybuilder, 13-time Ironman triathlete, and professional obstacle course racer, he brings a well-rounded expertise to his coaching. Greenfield has authored 13 books, including New York Times bestsellers "Beyond Training" and "Boundless," contributing significantly to the field of health and fitness literature.

Founder and owner of KION, a company that blends superfoods with modern science for peak performance, Greenfield also advises, invests, and serves on the boards of multiple corporations in the health and fitness industry. Additionally, he is a consultant for WellnessFX, host of the "Get-Fit Guy" and "BenGreenfieldFitness.com" podcasts on iTunes, and owner of EndurancePlanet.com. He consults worldwide and resides in Spokane, Washington, with his wife and twin boys. There, he enjoys activities like swinging kettlebells, playing guitar and ukulele, spearfishing, bowhunting, plant foraging, and cooking, continuing to embody a lifestyle that balances performance with health.
