Ben Koldyke Biography
Ben Koldyke is an actor, writer, and producer known for playing Brent Norwalk on NBC's hit sitcom "The Good Place."
Koldyke has been working on television nonstop since the early 2000s. He is also known for playing Don Frank on "How I Met Your Mother," as well as for playing Lee Standish on "Work It." Koldyke has also appeared on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Silicon Valley."
Koldyke was seen on the silver screen in 2016 in a supporting role for Disney's The Finest Hours alongside Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Eric Bana, and Ben Foster.
Prior to entering show business, Koldyke was a high school English teacher and football coach in Chicago. He got his big break after meeting "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" co-creator Rob McElhenney in a coffee shop and convincing him to watch the short films he wrote and directed. This led to his first project, the Fox pilot "Boldly Going Nowhere." In 2009, he also appeared in an episode of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
