Bernadette Anderson, MD, MPH, is not your ordinary family physician— she is a well-known and highly regarded medical expert, thought leader, visionary and the creator of Life in Harmony, an innovative, intentional and action-oriented approach to well-being. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including extensive work in acute, clinical, and preventive care, Dr. Bernadette has dedicated her career to teaching and educating individuals on health and lifestyle medicine.

In addition to her work as a family physician, Dr. Bernadette has authored the book "Fulfilled. 52 Prescriptions for Healing, Health, and Happiness," a motivational guide and workbook that offers a unique perspective on health, recognizing that TRUE health can only live where SCIENCE meets the SOUL. Dr. Bernadette empowers readers to navigate their lives with intention and purpose, unlocking their full potential for well-being. She’s also a freelance writer for GoodRx and has penned thought-provoking opinion essays for various prestigious publications and reputable online platforms, including Essence, USA Today, Fatherly, The Grio, and Live Happy. In 2023, she was selected by Global Health and Pharma for Most Innovative Mental Wellness Programming Provider - Midwest USA.

Dr. Bernadette is a versatile and passionate advocate for health and wellness. Her inspirational presentations, empowering group facilitation, and wellness programs draw from her in-depth knowledge of health, sleep optimization practices, stress management, nutrition, fitness, mental and spiritual wellness, and much more. Additionally, she has expanded her impact to corporate wellness, partnering with Highlights for Children, and leading DEI initiatives that address mental health stigma. Her unwavering devotion to advocate for mental and physical wellness has left an indelible mark on individuals, groups, and entire communities.

Dr. Bernadette’s groundbreaking work also spans to the realm of sports, where she has pioneered a cutting-edge mindset training program for athletes that enhances focus, reduces stress, speeds up recovery from injuries, and improves overall athletic performance. By challenging conventional thinking in the sports world and prescribing mental conditioning techniques, Dr. Bernadette helps athletes unleash their mental toughness and resilience, ultimately achieving greatness in and beyond the game.

A native of Saginaw, Michigan, Dr. Bernadette earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She completed a master's degree in public health at the University of California, Berkeley and a doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Ohio. She continued her clinical studies at the Mount Carmel Family Medicine Residency Program in Columbus, Ohio. Currently, Dr. Bernadette is a family medicine physician and the co-owner of Faith Family Health, also in Columbus. Both in her work as a physician and as the founder of Life in Harmony, Dr. Bernadette is committed to providing individuals with the tools to champion their own healing, health and happiness.
