Beth Malafa Biography
Beth Malafa made her first foray into the event world at the age of ten when she started planning birthday parties for her siblings. She now leads a team of event professionals as the Head of Experiential Marketing and Global Events for sportswear company Under Armour.
Malafa is an industry veteran who has worked with such groups as the National Football League, Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer and the US Olympic Committee sharing her passion in creating memorable and remarkable experiences. Teamwork is at the forefront of her management style. She believes in empowering others to bring their best talents forward and encourages others to make an impact and create events and experiences with meaning.
Malafa was chosen as one of the Top 15 women in Events by Event Marketer and was nominated for Top 100 Women in Maryland by The Daily Record. She was selected to the prestigious WELI Institute at TUCK Business School at Dartmouth to further her sports and events background. She received her BA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and her MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
