Betty Liu

Betty Liu serves as the Executive Vice Chairman at NYSE Group and the Chief Experience Officer for Intercontinental Exchange. In her role, she was involved in over 25 initial public offerings at NYSE, including major companies like Uber, Pinterest, and Tencent Music Entertainment. Liu also founded the NYSE Board Advisory Council to advance diversity in the boardroom.

Until May 2018, Liu worked as a news anchor at Bloomberg TV, hosting "In the Loop with Betty Liu," a daily business morning news program. She also developed "Titans at the Table" on Bloomberg Television. During her tenure, Liu interviewed numerous prominent newsmakers including Warren Buffett, Ted Turner, Jack Welch, and Lloyd Blankfein. Before joining Bloomberg Television in 2007, she was an anchor and correspondent for CNBC Asia in Hong Kong and served as the Atlanta bureau chief for The Financial Times.

From March 2016 to July 2018, Liu was the CEO of Radiate, Inc., a media education company she founded that was later acquired by Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in 2018. Liu has authored books including "Work Smarts: What CEOs Say You Need To Know to Get Ahead," where she gathers insights from top business leaders. She serves on the boards of L'Occitane and The Institute for Global Affairs, and holds a magna cum laude Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
