Beverly Kaye

Dr. Beverly Kaye is an internationally recognized authority on career issues, retention, and engagement in the workplace. She has received numerous awards for her contributions, including several lifetime achievement awards from respected organizations such as ATD, ISA, IMS, and the Best Practice Institute between 2018 and 2019. Additionally, i4CP honored her with the 2022 Industry Legend Award, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to human resources and leadership. Dr. Kaye has also been named by Leadership Excellence as one of "North America’s 100 top thought leaders."

As the founder and CEO of Career Systems International, and a best-selling author on workplace performance, Dr. Kaye has worked with a host of organizations to establish cutting-edge, award-winning talent development solutions. Her seminal book, "Up is Not the Only Way," published in the early '80s, anticipated the impact of leaner, flatter organizations on careers, stressing the importance of employees taking charge of their own career paths. She has also developed systems for managers and employees to collaborate on achieving developmental goals. Her book, "Love 'Em or Lose 'Em: Getting Good People to Stay," now in its 6th edition and a Wall Street Journal bestseller, has been translated into 20 languages and has reached an audience of over 500,000. The book emphasizes practical strategies for managers to retain key employees.

Dr. Kaye's portfolio of influential books includes "Help Them Grow or Watch Them Go: Career Conversations Organizations Need and Employees Want," "Hello Stay Interviews, Goodbye Talent Loss: A Manager's Playbook," and "Love It, Don't Leave It: 26 Ways to Get What You Want at Work," co-authored with Sharon Jordan-Evans.
