Billy Blanks

Billy Blanks is the creator of Tae Bo Fitness®, a revolutionary total body fitness system that has helped millions of people around the world get in shape and feel great! Blanks continues to earn acclaim through his extraordinary achievements as a world Karate Champion, actor, author, motivator, philanthropist and humanitarian. He travels all over the globe, teaching Tae Bo and conducting Tae Bo Certifications courses.

Blanks is a nineth-degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do but he also gained Black Belts in five other forms of Martial Arts, eventually becoming a Grand Master, but he didn't stop there. He became a seven-time world Karate Champion, captained the U.S. Karate team, won 36 Gold Medals in International competitions and earned admission to the Karate Hall Of Fame. Not only did he achieve his goals as a Martial Artist but Blanks went on to train in boxing and became a Golden Gloves Champion and the Tri-state Golden Gloves Champion of Champions.

Living in California, Blanks and Tae Bo Fitness® was very popular among celebrities. He became a fitness expert and personal trainer to many movie stars, television actors and celebrity athletes as well. Everyone reaped the benefits of Tae Bo Fitness® and Billy's Boot Camp™, helping them to stay in top physical shape.

Currently, Blanks is the co-host of the hit TV series "Celebrity Sweat," which reveals how celebrities and athletes balance good nutrition and fitness, so as to enjoy a healthful life. The series motivates and inspires both young and old to make fitness a dedicated part of their lives.

Blanks has been around for four decades. He is the Godfather of Fitness and continues to inspire men and women to bring fitness into their lives. He is more motivated than ever to make a difference in people's lives. His mission is to encourage, educate, motivate and inspire people, at any age, to make fitness a dedicated part of their lives. Blanks believes strongly in fitness, wellness and creating a healthy lifestyle program. He is a religious man who lives the idea of health in body, mind and soul, in order to create a healthy relationship with God through fitness, and faith.
