Casey Pieretti, a stuntman, actor, and athlete, has been an amputee for 25 years. Throughout this time, he has not only utilized the best prosthetics available but has also innovated numerous advanced prosthetic devices, enhancing his dynamic and athletic lifestyle. Bill Spracher is the president and owner of Spracher Engineering, Inc. Together, they co-hosted "Bionic Builders," a one-hour special that aired on Discovery in March 2011, and are co-owners of Amp’dGear Performance Amputee Sporting Gear.
The duo focuses on designing and testing unique, extreme artificial limbs with the objective of making amputee clients “better than new, better than you.” Their collaboration merges motivation from Pieretti with Spracher's engineering expertise to push the boundaries of what's possible in prosthetic technology.
In their engaging and informative program, they provide audiences with an exclusive look into their design process, complemented by impressive product samples and development photos. Their overarching mission is to revolutionize the perception of disability, aiming to transform it into a concept of the past.
