Bob Davies

Since 1983, Bob Davies has utilized his diverse experiences—from a challenging upbringing to his tenure as a college football coach—to guide individuals and organizations towards greater confidence and productivity. As a keynote speaker, author, trainer, and coach, he employs a detailed system centered on clarity, focus, and accountability to foster personal and professional growth.

Bob Davies holds a Bachelor's degree in Health from Rutgers University and a Master's degree in Psychology from Springfield College. He began his coaching career at Springfield as a graduate assistant for wrestling and football, where he worked with Jeff Blatnick, a future Olympic gold medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling. Beyond his coaching duties, Davies engaged in significant research during his tenure at the California Institute of Technology. He studied under Nobel Prize-winning Neuropsychologist Roger Sperry, focusing on split-brain research which later influenced his own strategies for peak performance.

After his research stint, Davies became the head football and wrestling coach at the California Institute of Technology and later served as an Assistant Coach at California State University Fullerton (CSUF). At CSUF, he developed innovative coaching methods that enabled the team to secure two conference championships, despite competing against more skilled opponents. These methodologies not only elevated athletic performances but also enriched his motivational speaking and coaching approaches.

In his professional journey, Davies has not only drawn from his sports and academic background but has also mastered techniques to enhance human performance extensively. This includes his role as a former practicing hypnotherapist and his status as a Master Certified Coach, the highest certification in professional coaching. Furthermore, he has contributed to the coaching field through his service on the board of the International Coaches Federation and its credentialing committee.

Beyond his professional career, Bob Davies leads an active personal life. He is married to Jenifer, a father to three children, and a pet owner of three dogs. Overcoming a personal fear of heights, he has achieved over 2000 skydiving jumps and is an instrument-rated pilot. These personal experiences often enrich his professional engagements, adding depth to his presentations on overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.
