Brandon O'Brien Biography
Brandon J. O'Brien is Director of Content Development and Distribution for Redeemer City to City, an organization that supports church planting in global cities.
O'Brien is author of several books, the most recent of which is Not From Around Here: What Unites Us, What Divides Us, and How We Can Move Forward (Moody, 2019).
Currently, his role is director of content development and distribution for Redeemer City to City, where he serves local churches by serving pastors. He gets to research and write about how our cultural contexts shape us and what difference that makes for ministry.
He earned a B.A. in English literature and Biblical studies at Ouachita Baptist University and an M.A. in Religion in American Life from Wheaton College Graduate School. He received his PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School
He lives with his wife, Amy, and two children in Uptown Manhattan.
